INGREDIENTS Serves: 1

For the Toast 🍞:

  • 1 slice of your favourite bread (sourdough, whole grain, or rye works best!)

For the Avocado 🥑:

  • 1/2 ripe avocado, mashed

For the Topping 🧀:

  • a handful of crumbled feta cheese

For the Spice & Drizzle ✨:

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon Zaza Za’atar
  • honey
  • pinch of salt (optional)

INSTRUCTIONS

Prepare the Avocado 🥑:

  • Slice the avocado in half, remove the pit, and scoop the flesh into a bowl.
  • Mash it with a fork until smooth or slightly chunky, depending on your preference.

Toast the Bread and assemble! 🍞:

  • Toast the slices of bread in a toaster or on a grill pan until golden brown and crispy.
  • Once the bread is toasted, spread the mashed avocado evenly onto each slice of toast.
  • Sprinkle the crumbled feta cheese generously over the mashed avocado.
  • Drizzle the olive oil over the feta and avocado.
  • Sprinkle with za’atar spice and a pinch of salt if desired.
