Ingredients

For the Toast 🍞: 1 thick slice of sourdough or rustic bread, toasted

For the Avocado 🥑: 1 ripe avocado (mashed), 1 teaspoon za’atar, 1 teaspoon olive oil, Salt & black pepper to taste

For the Egg 🍳: 1 egg, 1 teaspoon olive oil or butter

For Garnish 🌿: 1 tablespoon za’atar, olive oil drizzle

Cooking Instructions

Prepare the Avocado Mash 🥑: In a bowl, mash the avocado with za’atar, olive oil, salt, and black pepper until smooth but slightly chunky.

Toast the Bread 🍞: Toast the slices of bread in a toaster or on a grill pan until golden brown and crispy.

Fry the Egg 🍳: Heat olive oil or butter in a pan over medium heat. Crack in the egg and cook until the whites are set but the yolk is still runny (or to your preference).
